Counseling abusive husbands Finally, how do you help a husband who hurts his wife emotionally, verbally, or even physically? Greg Wilson, a licensed professional counselor from Texas, shares how he’s used 1 Peter 3:7 to help men who are like this to change. His article contains lists of self-evaluation questions for domineering husbands. You’ll find Greg’s advice to be helpful the next time you counsel a man who abuses his wife.
