There’s more to DivorceCare’s Surviving the Holidays than meets the eye.
Simply stated, it may be the most effective tool you have to grow the DivorceCare ministry at your church.
There are 3 reasons why:
- The pain of divorce is amplified between Thanksgiving and Christmas. People are
intensely aware of their need for help. They are more willing to seek it.
- It’s a stand-alone session. It does not require a 13-week commitment. That
removes a barrier that keeps some people from coming to a full DivorceCare group.
- Your Surviving the Holidays event allows attendees to “sample” the DivorceCare
experience. Many will see that coming to your next full DivorceCare group would
be beneficial. Your January group could grow significantly!
