Dear friend:
There’s more to GriefShare’s Surviving the Holidays than meets the eye.
Simply stated, it may be the most effective tool you have to grow the GriefShare ministry
at your church.
There are 3 reasons why:
- The pain of grief is amplified between Thanksgiving and Christmas. People are
intensely aware of their need for help. They are more willing to seek it.
- It’s a stand-alone session. It does not require a 13-week commitment. That
removes a barrier that keeps some people from coming to a full GriefShare group.
- Your Surviving the Holidays event allows attendees to “sample” the GriefShare
experience. Many will see that coming to your next full GriefShare group would
be beneficial. Your January group could grow significantly!
I’ve prepared a special short video that will inspire you to think strategically as you plan your upcoming Surviving the Holidays event. Watch it now.
To create momentum for your Surviving the Holidays event, you’ll want to promote it throughout your community. Find extensive publicity tools here.
Watch for my next note in about a week. I want to share a simple step you can take now to avoid being embarrassed when people start arriving for your Surviving the Holidays event.
Thanks and blessings,
